Reservation System
The reservation module helps you efficiently manage customer booking requests, optimize seating capacity, and reduce no-shows.
Online Reservations
Customers can book directly through your website or Google profile. Reservations sync automatically into Dinnify.
Create a Reservation
Manual Creation
- Access Reservations: Click from main menu
- Click "+ New Reservation"
- Customer Info: Name, phone, email
- Date and Time: Select time slot
- Party Size: Number of guests expected
- Preferences: Zone, specific table, special occasions
- Notes: Allergies, special requests
- Confirmation: Automatic email sent to customer
Time Slot Management
Configure your time slots, average dining duration, and number of services per day.
Multiple Services
Define separate lunch and dinner services with distinct times
Default Duration
Average time allocated per table (e.g., 1.5 hours for 2 people)
Maximum Capacity
Limit reservations based on your actual capacity
Table Assignment
Assign tables automatically or manually based on party size and preferences.
Automatic Assignment
System suggests best available table based on: capacity, preferred zone, proximity to other reservations.
Manual Assignment
Choose specific table from floor plan for special cases (VIPs, birthdays, large groups).
Confirmations and Reminders
- Confirmation Email: Sent automatically upon booking
- SMS Reminder: 24 hours before to reduce no-shows
- Customer Confirmation: Link to confirm or cancel
Calendar View
Visualize all reservations on a calendar with color coding: confirmed, pending, arrived, no-show.
Filter by date, service, zone, or status for customized view.
